Nirvana~’Rutlands Nirvana At CreamofBritish’

It all started with Nirvana.

Our fabulous boy ‘Rutlands Nirvana At CreamofBritish’ was the first Australian Labradoodle to be imported from Rutland Manor Labradoodles Australia. I had the choice of three different dogs of varying colours but I picked Nirvana as to me he had the best conformation and a truly awesome coat. Nirvana has a wonderful nature, he comes from the very best therapy dog lines through 'Tegan Park Cool Dude' and 'Rutlands Magnum'.  He is genetically colour tested BbEe which means that he is not dominant for Black and carries the genes for Chocolate, Cream, White, Red and Apricot. Nirvana was just so amazing, it is not until you share your life with the ASD Labradoodle that you can appreciate how very different they are. Nothing phased Nirvana he was so kind and gentle, an awesome boy! Two of Nirvana's puppies are now being trained with Canine Partners For Independence in the UK, others work with autistic children in Holland and descendants from Nirvana are assistance dogs in the UK.    

My wonderful boy Nirvana arrived from Rutland Manor Australia on the 12th April 2007, his life changed dramatically and so did mine.

Undoubtedly the only Australian Labradoodle to have received a critique in Dog World, he’s been in an O2 advert on the telly and quite simply he’s a legend, we’ve been through tough times together and I’m going to miss him terribly but he will be remembered by many people for years to come and thanks to modern technology we can even look forward to seeing his offspring in the future. He’s never had a days illness in the thirteen years that we shared, I had to register him at my vets so that she could do a home visit to let him pass over, he’s now laid to rest under our olive tree. Sleep tight my fabulous boy xxxx
